Watch for routine road maintenance throughout West Kelowna next week

The City of West Kelowna’s road maintenance contractor, AEL/Emcon Services, will be completing routine ditch cleaning and maintenance on several busy roads from Monday, Oct. 6 through Friday, Oct. 17.

This important work will help improve drainage and road safety heading into the fall and winter seasons.

What to expect

• Work begins daily at 7 a.m. and will move quickly from one location to the next.
• Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place; please plan for short delays.
• Obey traffic control personnel and signage and use extra caution when driving through work zones.

Roads scheduled for maintenance (in order):

1. Fenton Road
2. Gates Road (south of Glenrosa Road)
3. Glenway Court and Lower Glenrosa Road
4. Gellatly Road
5. Gellatly Road South
6. Boucherie Road – Pritchard Drive to Sunnyside Road
7. Thacker Road – Anders to Ogden
8. Stuart Road – Boucherie to Hayman
9. Bear Creek Road to City limits
