Second Last Music in the Park For This Season

Friday, August 23at 6:40 p.m. is the second last Music in the Park of the season! Join us at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheater for a night of free family fun with great entertainment, a kid’s area, and delicious food trucks.

At 8:00 p.m. is headliner Under the Rocks “UTR”, a BC based Bluegrass band. Inspired from traditional and contemporary American Bluegrass, UTR combines sensational instrumentals, melodic harmonies, and enticing lyrics to captivate their audiences. The four members of the group, Chloe Davidson, Chris Baxter, Drew Schulz, and Jordan Klassen, are currently on tour across Western Canada. Under the Rocks recently released their first album “Live off the floor” in April 2019 and are currently working on their second. Don’t miss them this Friday!

At 7:00 p.m. is opener Becca Mabbett, an up and coming singer/songwriter who specializes in Folk Pop. Becca recently took top place in the 2019 Okanagan Singer Songwriter Competition and is currently working on her new album set to release in 2020. 

At 6:40 p.m., our emerging artist Bo Juhara takes the stage to kick off the night. 

The food trucks joining us this week will be:

• Kona Ice of Central Okanagan - Shaved Ice
• Dosa Crepes - Savory and Sweet Crepes
• Peter Ze German - Bratwurst, Grilled Cheese, Schnitsel, Salad
• Normadic Bannock - Bannock, Indian Tacos, Chili
