Save the Date! Official Community Plan Public Hearing

The City of West Kelowna invites our community to provide their input into the Official Community Plan (OCP) Update by attending the upcoming Public Hearing:

• Date: Thursday, July 20, 2023
• Time: 5:00 p.m.
• Location: Council Chambers at West Kelowna City Hall – 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna

The OCP guides long-term planning to help create vibrant city centres and complete neighbourhoods and to shape how we move. It defines policies for land use and development to achieve our community vision. View the bylaw and related materials at OurWK.ca/OCP.

Ways to participate

The City is providing the public with various opportunities to provide your comments:

• Make a written submission, by email, mail or in person
• Attend the Public Hearing in person
  • Please note, Public Hearings have limited seating, available on a first-come, first-service basis
• Speak by phone
• Watch via live stream at westkelownacity.ca/webcasts

To learn more on the various ways to make your submission, please go to OurWK.ca/OCP.

Written submissions received before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, will be provided to Council as part of the publicly posted agenda. All submissions received before the close of the Public Hearing are provided to Council and become part of the public record. Please note that Council cannot receive submissions after the conclusion of the Public Hearing.
