This year, the City of West Kelowna will invest $1.5 million to improve approximately 7.6 lane kilometres of roads as part of its annual Road Rehabilitation Program. Construction is anticipated to begin the week of Aug. 15 and continue through October, 2022.
West Kelowna’s road network is inspected each year and roads are prioritized for repair, which often include milling and replacing the asphalt surface. The City schedules and coordinates road work to reduce the impact on neighbouring residents, commuters and visitors whenever possible.
The 2022 Road Rehabilitation projects include:

Scott Crescent - From Bear Creek Road to Vancouver Road

Investing in the maintenance of the West Kelowna’s road network is key to managing long-term costs and extending the lifespan of roads. The annual Road Rehabilitation Program is funded in part by the Canada Community-Building Fund, which is administered in B.C. by the Union of BC Municipalities.
