Peruse West Kelowna’s parks and discover our hidden gems

The search is on to explore West Kelowna with our exciting new Peruse the Parks program – it’s your chance to have some safe, socially distanced outdoor fun with the family and perhaps find a new favourite spot or re-discover that special somewhere.

Grab members of your household bubble from May 1 to 24 and participate in a scavenger hunt to discover hidden symbols located at parks throughout West Kelowna. All participants will be entered in a draw for a chance to win great prizes.

While most people have heard of West Kelowna’s more popular places like Kinsmen, Pritchard and Shannon Woods Parks, don’t miss out on exploring some hidden gems located in neighbourhoods around the city. 

Download a score sheet at westkelownacity.ca/perusetheparks to keep track of the symbols you find. Email a copy of your scoresheet to recreation@westkelownacity.ca to enter the prize draws; or you can drop off the form at the Recreation Office at 2760 Cameron Road before May 28. Remember to wear a mask if attending our office in person. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are closed Victoria Day, May 24.
