Start exploring some of the City of West Kelowna’s parks and a few of our enhanced green spaces for the second annual Peruse the Parks program.
Exploring West Kelowna is a great way to find new gems in your community. Create some friendly competition with your friends and family from May 1 to 24 and participate in a scavenger hunt to discover hidden symbols located at City parks throughout West Kelowna. All participants will be entered in a draw for a chance to win great prizes.
Peruse parks today and let the fun begin. Download a score sheet at westkelownacity.ca/perusetheparks to keep track of the symbols you find.

Drop off your score sheet at the Recreation Office at 2760 Cameron Road before May 31. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are closed Victoria Day, May 23.
Parks projects at a glance
As part of Council’s endorsement of this year’s budget, the City of West Kelowna is investing $1 million through the Parks and Communities Amenities Fund to enhance and upgrade parks across the city. These investments will enhance the community and create special places to gather, play and enjoy for everyone living in and visiting the Greater Westside.
Construction crews will replace playground equipment, upgrade irrigation, enhance landscaping and more.
