Find out about the City of West Kelowna’s annual capital and operating budgets designed to support Council’s Strategic Priorities and keep our community moving forward. We aim to upgrade aging infrastructure and modernize our community to provide more active transportation options including roundabouts at Bartley and Shannon Lake Roads and Gellatly and Carrington Roads and sidewalk and cycling connections on Shannon Lake Road.
The proposed 4.05 per cent increase includes a one per cent levy to support the delivery of sidewalks, road improvements and other priority infrastructure investments.
Our $59 million operating budget will ensure we maintain high quality services such as fire, rescue and policing to keep our community safe, parks, trails and recreation to keep us active and healthy and building, bylaw and development to support ongoing, steady growth in our City.
