The Music in the Park melodies continue this Friday!
Free concerts run every Friday evening until Aug. 25 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful setting of the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway.
Move and groove to rocking boogie blues music with our opening act the Blueshounds. Taking to the stage as the headlining act is the 538st band, whose fun surf-hop music aims to energize with their unique blend of vintage and modern sounds.
Emerging artist, Ava Lorraine will hit the stage at approximately 6:40 p.m., followed by the opening act at 7:00 p.m. and the headliner at 8:00 p.m.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets and settle in to enjoy an evening of live music. Grab a bite to eat at the food trucks, and drop by the Fun Zone for games and activities that all ages can enjoy, hosted by West Kelowna Recreation and Culture.
Main parking is available on Westbank First Nation lands off Carrington Court and at the corner of Old Okanagan Highway and Ingram Road.
City crews are continuing active transportation, stormwater and lighting upgrades on Old Okanagan Highway from Dobbin Road to Ingram Road. Street parking along Old Okanagan Highway will not be available.
