Join the City of West Kelowna Recreation and Culture on Saturday, June 1 for National Health and Fitness Day. National Health and Fitness Day is an initiative to make Canada the Fittest Nation on Earth.
Help celebrate National Health and Fitness Day by posting a picture of yourself, your friends and/or your family on social media taking part in any of the free recreation activities listed below. Participants are entered for a chance to win a fitness prize pack, courtesy of Participaction – Community Better Challenge.
Free recreation activities in West Kelowna:
- Pickleball classes: Mar Jok Elementary Gymnasium 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. and
1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. both with instructor Roberta
- Yoga: Mar Jok Elementary Community Room 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Intro Park Play Days: Mar Jok Elementary, Rosewood Field 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Dance Flow: Mar Jok Elementary Community Room 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- Zumba: Mar Jok Elementary Community Room 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Lunch Time Fitness: Mar Jok Elementary Community Room 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Gentle yoga: Mar Jok Elementary Community Room 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- Other free activities around West Kelowna such as; hiking, visiting a park, swimming, or enjoying the bright Okanagan sun.
