Music in the Park returns Friday, June 28 for another scorching West Kelowna summer full of rhythm and free family fun.

Headlining opening night are The Insiders, a local party band based in Kelowna. With decades of music industry experience, they transition between pop, rock, soul and modern classics to create an upbeat atmosphere that brings audiences of all ages to their feet. The Insiderswill be headlining the June 28 show with opener J.S. Garcia Band and emerging artist Anika Ellis.

July highlights of Music in the Park include:

Nuela Charles is an alternative soul singer and songwriter who has been nominated for multiple Juno Awards, was the winner of the Western Canadian Music Award for Urban Artist of the Year, and opened for the Grapes of Wrath. Nuela Charles will be headlining the July 5 show with opener Mason Burns Band and emerging artist Kailyn King.

Don’t miss Crystal Shawanda, a Juno Award winning artist for Indigenous Music Album of the Year, who was featured on Saturday Night Blues and has performed at venues across Canada. Her soulful blues style paired with her country flare captivates audiences of all generations. Crystal will be headlining the July 26 show with opener Michael Daniels.

These are only a few of the many talented artists the City of West Kelowna has lined up for you!

This year there will be no show on Friday, July 12 due to Westside Daze celebrations and concerts. So, we have added an extra show Saturday, July 27!

Food Trucks are joining the celebration! Multiple vendors have registered to sell your favorite comfort food and tasty treats.
