From our Park Play Day program, expanded this year by popular demand to the highly anticipated return of Music in the Park to its original home at the treasured Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre, the 2022 Summer Rec Guide is full of events, programs and activities sure to make the sunny season even brighter.

Free Parks Play Days take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at various parks in West Kelowna every Tuesday, Wednesday, new for 2022, and Thursday from June 7 through Aug. 25. After moving to Kinsmen Park for a more intimate, COVID-friendly season in 2021, Music in the Park will once again take centre stage at Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre in Memorial Park in 2022. Watch the sun set on Okanagan Lake while enjoying free, Friday night concerts from July 15 to Sept. 2. Artists include Juno Award winning artist Iskwē, Canada’s Got Talent-featured artist Michael Daniels, the sweet bluegrass harmonies of Jackson Hollow and West Kelowna’s own country singer/songwriter Ben Klick.
