Julia’s Junction temporarily closed for repairs

Julia’s Junction Inclusive Play Space at Westbank Centre Park is temporarily closed for repairs through May 16.

The warranty-related work, for repairs to the rubber ground surface, which has de-laminated, was originally expected to start on May 13. However, the City was able to obtain an earlier time, on short notice, and took the opportunity in the hopes that the work could be completed before the May long weekend, the unofficial start to summer, and an even more popular time for the well-used and loved play space.

The schedule will be subject to weather and other factors.

The City of West Kelowna is unable to temporarily reopen and re-close the playground during the scheduled work for safety reasons and we thank users for their patience and understanding.
