Join us for a magical holiday season in West Kelowna! We've got something for everyone, starting with Light Up, the Polar Pancake Pajama Party, Twinkle Tour and more!
✨Light Up
On Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Light Up will take place at Westbank Centre on Brown Road, from Main Street to Gossett Road.
This free event features a variety of activities, a craft market, holiday music, food trucks, and complimentary hot chocolate. Children will also enjoy special appearances by Santa, the Grinch, and some cast members from Frozen.

🛒 “The Market at Light Up” at the Westbank Lions Community Centre – warm up and browse the craft sale between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

🎅 Watch Santa and Mayor Milsom flip the switch for the holiday lights at 6 p.m.

🎇Find a comfortable spot to watch the high-altitude fireworks show, starting at 7:45 p.m. (weather dependent), which can be seen from a variety of locations that view the Westbank Centre area.

🥞 Polar Pancake Pajama Party
The City’s annual Polar Pancake Pajama Party is back, and you’ll want to secure your spot faster than grabbing a hot cocoa on a cold winter’s night. This holiday event runs Sunday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, and is a fun-filled morning featuring breakfast, winter crafts, and activities for kids of all ages along with their parents/caregivers. The event costs $7 per child (0-12) and $12 for all those 12+. Preregistration is required, call the Recreation and Culture Department at 778-797-8800.
🎄Twinkle Tour
To add to the festivities, the City's fifth annual Twinkle Tour kicked off Nov. 22. Submit your own or a neighbour’s home or business to be included on the tour at OurWK.ca/twinkletour, where you can also find a self-guided tour map in the days ahead as nominees are added, and download a scavenger hunt activity!
The contest entry period will close Dec. 10. Judging will take place Dec. 13 and winners will be announced on Dec. 17.
⛸️ Public Skating
Check out all of our skating programs this winter at the Mount Boucherie Recreation Complex. Our holiday public skating schedule will run from Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 to Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 and includes Public Skating, Big & Little Skate, and Stick & Puck.
