Progress of the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant (RVWTP) is well underway and the final phase of construction to install water transmission mains is anticipated to start later this month in the Sunnyside and West Kelowna Estate areas.
Prior to construction starting, we invite the community to drop by Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, 2630 Alhambra Drive, on Thursday, Sept. 15 or Wednesday, Sept. 21 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to learn more about project.

Can’t attend in person? Visit the virtual information session at OurWK.ca/watermains and view the display boards. Community engagement kits will be available for pick up at City Hall beginning Sept. 15 upon request. Contact the capital project phone line at 778-797-1234.

The Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant is the single largest construction project the City of West Kelowna has undertaken. When operational in 2023, the plant will deliver safe, clean drinking water to 18,000 residents with room to grow.
