Boil Water Notice for Westbank Centre Rescinded

The City of West Kelowna has rescinded the precautionary Boil Water Notice put in place on October 10 for parts of the downtown core – Westbank Centre - which was the result of a water main break on Old Okanagan Highway.

The Water Quality Advisory remains in place for the Lakeview System. The Bulk Water Station at Asquith and Shannon Lake Roads remains available as a safe, alternative source. Bring clean hoses and bottles for filling. The tap is located on the Asquith Road side of the station off Shannon Lake Road.

The City of West Kelowna maintains an online map of all Water Quality Advisory and Boil Water Notice areas within its boundaries.

The City of West Kelowna advises the public of changes in water quality through its website and web subscription service. Residents are encouraged to sign up for e-notifications through the City’s website at www.westkelownacity.ca/subscribe to receive an automatic email advising when any notices are put in place or rescinded.
