Our summer soundtrack continues this Friday at our free Music in the Park concert series.
Headlining this week’s show is the Andrew Smith Trio at 8 p.m. Lead by Andrew Smith, an award-winning singer-songwriter, this trio delivers a performance that blends funky grooves with captivating storytelling.
Kicking off the show at 6:30 p.m. will be this week's emerging artist, followed by the Okanagan’s own soulful folk/pop singer Kailee Duggan at 7 p.m. The Kailee Duggan Trio performs soulful sounds as they blend folk and pop with influences from Norah Jones and the Beatles.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets and settle in to enjoy an evening of live music. Grab a bite to eat at the food trucks, and drop by the Fun Zone for games and activities that all ages can enjoy, hosted by West Kelowna Recreation and Culture.
Free concerts will run every Friday evening until Aug. 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway in West Kelowna.
Main parking is available in Westbank First Nation off Carrington Court and at the corner of Old Okanagan Highway and Ingram Road. Accessible parking is available, as well as a drop-off option.
