This Friday’s free Music in the Park summer concert series is packed with a variety of music from across the decades!
Headlining this week’s show is Rock Steady. Fronted by veteran touring musician Carley Bailey, this nine-piece band will keep the dance floor packed while performing the hits of yesterday and today, from Classic Rock to R&B.
Kicking off the show at 6:30 p.m. will be this week's emerging artist, followed by Kelowna’s own international reggae artist Gold Mynd at 7 p.m. Born in Jamaica, Gold Mynd brings a unique, authentic roots reggae vibe, creating an unforgettable live experience.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets and settle in to enjoy an evening of live music. Grab a bite to eat at the food trucks, and drop by the Fun Zone for games and activities that all ages can enjoy, hosted by West Kelowna Recreation and Culture.
Free concerts will run every Friday evening until August 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park at 3731 Old Okanagan Hwy, West Kelowna.
Main parking is available on Westbank First Nation lands off Carrington Court and at the corner of Old Okanagan Highway and Ingram Road. Accessible parking is available, as well as a drop-off option.
