Advisory Planning Commission
The Advisory Planning Commission (APC) is established per Bylaw No. 0098 to provide feedback to City of West Kelowna Council and staff on matters respecting land use, community planning, and proposed bylaws and certain permits under Part 14 of the Local Government Act.

Board of Variance
The Board of Variance is a quasi-judicial body independent from Council that is required under Section 536 of the Local Government Act and established per Bylaw No. 0056. The Board handles applications for minor variances where compliance with the Zoning Bylaw would cause a person undue hardship.
