Starting today, the West Kelowna community will have an opportunity to shape the City of West Kelowna’s Draft 2023 Budget and Five-Year Financial Plan.
This year's budget proposes a 5.0 per cent tax increase, which includes 1.7 per cent to cover police services cost increases and 1.0 per cent allocated to critical infrastructure. The draft budget presented on Jan. 30 and 31, 2023, is shaped throughout the year based on what matters most to the community....

Public engagement for the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Transportation Master Plan (TMP) remains open until Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The community is encouraged to get involved as we update these two major planning initiatives that will guide how and where the city will grow and how people will get around over the next 20 years.

BC Assessment provided an overview of the assessment and appeal process, classification variances, and West Kelowna assessment roll statistics as of July 1, 2022. The City of West Kelowna derives 93 per cent of its assessment from residential class and is seeing 15 per cent growth across all classes.
