Time to Renew/Purchase Dog Licenses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

It’s the time of year for all Central Okanagan dog owners to renew or purchase a new dog license.

The Responsible Dog Ownership Bylaw requires all dogs to be licensed in the Central Okanagan and in 2019, over 22,000 were.  A license makes it easy to return a dog to its owner if it gets away.

Purchase a new or renew an existing dog license before February 29th in order to save $20 off the regular annual license fees.

Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Lakeview System

The City of West Kelowna, in cooperation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Boil Water Notice in the Lakeview System, effective immediately.

Residents need to park off street over the next two to three days, please, to help road crews deal with the heavy snowfall expected over the pre-Christmas weekend.
