Campfire ban across the Central Okanagan begins Friday

Effective July 12, 2024, at 12 p.m. (noon), all campfires are prohibited throughout Central Okanagan municipalities and electoral area fire service areas to help prevent human-caused wildfires and protect public safety.
In alignment with our partners at the BC Wildfire Service, and due to high temperatures and dry conditions, the campfire ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Rock n’ roll and Elvis fans will not want to miss this week’s free Music in the Park concert on Friday night, featuring Matt Cage as the hound dog himself!
A Toronto native, Cage has portrayed "The King" in sold-out theatres, festival-headlining shows and musical plays all across Canada and the United States.
The emerging artist will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by a double set performance by Cage, starting at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024.
