The City of West Kelowna will move the March 24 Council meeting to a larger venue to ensure social distancing, as recommended by health authorities, to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Council Chambers in City Hall is too small to permit the six-foot required distance between the Mayor, six Councilors, and the staff that need to be in attendance. The Westbank Lions Community Centre has a much larger square footage, at 2,400 square feet, than Council...

City Hall remains open to maintain civic services, until further notice; however, the City of West Kelowna is closing recreational facilities and programs and public access at all satellite facilities and offices effective end of day March 17.
