Water Quality Advisory Rescinded for the Pritchard-Sunnyside System

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Pritchard-Sunnyside Water System. The City issued the advisory Jan. 13, 2021 due to turbidity issues, near the Okanagan Lake intake, related to a severe windstorm.
The City thanks users for their patience while crews conducted sampling and testing and received all mandatory laboratory confirmations necessary to rescind the Water Quality Advisory.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has issued a Water Quality Advisory for the Pritchard-Sunnyside System due to turbidity issues in Okanagan Lake in the vicinity of the intake related to an overnight windstorm.

Council began the first meeting of the New Year by wishing everyone a bright and prosperous 2021.
Supplemental staffing requests to be reconsidered in the Draft 2021 to 2025 Financial Plan

A Year in Review by Mayor Gord Milsom
West Kelowna continues to prosper despite pandemic challenges.
This year was like no other, impacting the way we live, learn and work.
