Multi Sport Dome Grand Opening
Mayor Gord Milsom announced that the City will be holding its Grand Opening Celebration for the new Multi Sport Dome on Saturday, November 16. Fund Seeks Donations to Help Cemetery Theft Victims

The City of West Kelowna will accept donations to help victims of theft at the Westbank Cemetery recover costs for memorial replacements until Friday, December 6.
In the late evening of Saturday, September 14, bronze markers from 55 memorial plots in the Westbank Cemetery were stolen. On September 23, the City was advised that through excellent police work and local tips, the stolen bronze markers were recovered, however, 20 were damaged beyond repair.

City of West Kelowna crews are flushing water mains in the Lakeview System over the next several days, focussing on the Shannon Lake Road, Shannon Way and Tallus Ridge areas.
Signs will be posted in areas where crews are flushing mains. Water main flushing involves running water at a high velocity to remove accumulated sediment from pipes; and, Lakeview System users may experience discoloration in the water while flushing is underway. Should residents notice...

You’ll have a little longer to get your yard cleaned up for fall. NEW this year, curbside yard waste collection continues until the end of December.
Bi-weekly fall yard waste pickup ends Tuesday December 31. That’s the last day in the Central Okanagan for the curbside yard waste pickup program until collection resumes again March 2, 2020. In previous years, yard waste was collected only until the end of November.
