Crews pour TLC into Westside Wine Trail before summer tourism season

Summer is almost here and West Kelowna Parks and Public Works crews will close Boucherie Road, between Hayman and Stuart Roads, Tuesday, June 1, from 5:45 to 10 p.m. toget the entrance to the Westside Wine Trail ready for its busiest season.

Crews will install hanging flower baskets, perform electrical maintenance on street lights, clean catch basins, test and repair irrigation lines, mow, weed and power wash.

With the COVID-19 pandemic not quite past us, and Home Owner Grants now being claimed through the Province of BC, the City of West Kelowna encourages you to avoid in-person lines and to pay your 2021 property taxes online instead of coming to Municipal Hall.

West Kelowna 2021 property tax notices were sent in the mail Friday, May 21 and payments are due before 4:30 p.m. July 2. Avoid a 10 per cent penalty by paying taxes and claiming your Home Owner...
