Staff and Council have cancelled the City of West Kelowna’s August 11 Regular Meeting, which was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Chambers at Municipal Hall at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC.
Council’s next Regular Meeting takes place August 25, following a Public Hearing, starting at 6 p.m. in Chambers at Municipal Hall, 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC.

Construction of the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant is underway!An important update about how users pay for water service is about to hit mail boxes in the coming week. Council’s top priority is to provide clean, safe and reliable water to future plant users in 2022. With a $41 million grant from the governments of Canada and British Columbia, customers will only pay $34 more over the next two years (from $116 to $150 per year) to reach the $150 annual fee. Condolences to family of Sheila Paynter
Council offered deepest sympathies after the passing of Sheila Paynter at 100 years old this week and, on behalf of all the City of West Kelowna, extended their sincerest condolences to the family. Council expressed their admiration for Mrs. Paynter and her energy, kindness, wisdom and love for the community. Mrs. Paynter was very active in the community and a pillar in her family’s popular agricultural businesses.
