Boil Water Notice reinstated for Sunnyside/Pritchard System

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with the Interior Health Authority, is elevating the Water Quality Advisory to a Boil Water Notice in the Sunnyside/Pritchard System effective immediately and until further notice, due to increased turbidity in Okanagan Lake.
The increased turbidity is the result of weekend storm activity and related freshet conditions. Turbidity effects the performance of the chlorine disinfection process enabling bacteria, viruses and microorganisms...

The City of West Kelowna is welcoming back customers to Municipal Hall, but continues to encourage people to conduct as much business as possible online.
To assist the public with COVID-19 protocols, including social distancing and gathering size limits, for the next several weeks, a Welcome Back Ambassador will greet customers in the City Hall courtyard during business hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with the Interior Health Authority, has downgraded the Boil Water Notice for the Sunnyside/Pritchard System to a Water Quality Advisory due to decreasing turbidity in Okanagan Lake.
