Wildfire mitigation work on Mount Boucherie requires temporary trail closures

Picturesque Mt. Boucherie, in the centre of our community, will be the focus of wildfire mitigation work this month. The City must temporarily close trails as crews work from east of the arenas and City Hall moving west to the Rush Trailhead.

Beginning on Wednesday, May 5, BD Hall Constructors will upgrade approximately 250 metres of road frontage along the east side of 4025 Gellatly Road South for a new private development. Note this work is not being performed by City crews.
BD Hall Constructors are scheduled to perform roadwork from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, with the possibility of some weekend work.

Water pressure returns to normal in Glenrosa

Glenrosa residents living on McGinnis Road, between McQueen and McLeod Roads should now be experiencing normal water pressure as crews finish up repairs on a water main leak.
Any residents whose water pressure has not returned to normal may contact the City’s Utilities Service Line at 778-797-2246.
The City of West Kelowna thanks residents for their patience during repairs.

Glenrosa residents living on McGinnis Road, between McQueen and McLeod Roads may be experiencing lower than normal water pressure at times today while crews repair a leak in a water main.
Crews are working to maintain pressure during repairs, but levels may fluctuate; residents who experience no pressure can all our Utilities service line at 778-797-2246.
