The return of live, local performances is music to our ears.
After a yearlong intermission, West Kelowna’s free Music in the Park concerts return this summer, starting with our first show Friday, July 9 at Kinsmen Park upper field. Headliner Lindsay May, a multitalented blues and pop/rock artist, takes the stage at 7:40 p.m. Singing prodigy Scotty Berg opens the show at 6:40 p.m.

Final days to pay property taxes

Remember to pay your property taxes by end of day this Friday to avoid the 10 per cent late penalty.
Taxes are due into to us here at the City of West Kelowna, and Home Owner Grants must be claimed through the Province of BC, by 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 2. We must charge the penalty July 3 to all taxes owing to the City and any grants unclaimed through the Province by the deadline; our staff is unable to reverse the amount. Regardless of whether you...
Heatwave postpones Music In the Park

Sorry, Music in the Park fans, it is just too hot to host the hottest ticket in town!
With persistent soaring temperatures, the City of West Kelowna will reschedule the first Music in the Park performances of 2021, which we had slated for July 1 at Kinsmen Park.
Recreation and Culture staff will work with artists and vendors to determine a new date. Stay tuned! We thank fans for their understanding.
