Going from parks to youth education, the former West Kelowna Parks Building will be leased out to Central Okanagan Public Schools for their important Take a Hike Program, which provides alternative education in support of youth mental health and emotional well-being.

The City of West Kelowna is reminding all property owners to pay their 2025 property taxes to the municipality and claim their Home Owner Grant through the Province of B.C., if eligible, by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Any unpaid taxes, outstanding balances, or unclaimed Home Owner Grants as of July 2 must will automatically be charged a 10 per cent late penalty on July 3.
Please note that City staff cannot reverse this statutory penalty.
