Temporary removal of Water Quality Advisory for Lakeview-Rose Valley System

Recent testing confirms water quality has returned to normal to help provide a reprieve for Lakeview-Rose Valley System customers before the next milestone of the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant construction in November. In the following weeks, another tie-in will be completed on a 750mm water main that will connect the Lakeview-Rose Valley System to the future plant.
This work will require a precautionary Boil Water Notice for up to one week as quality may be...

2020 Poppy Campaign launched
Acting Mayor Jayson Zilkie and Anne Fox, with Royal Canadian Legion’s Westbank Branch 288, officially kicked off the 2020 Poppy Campaign in West Kelowna in advance of Remembrance Day, with the rest of Council showing their support. Crews will close Boucherie Road, between Hayman and Hudson Roads, Thursday October 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for seasonal boulevard maintenance.
The work will require a full closure of the road, bike lanes and sidewalks to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. Crews will maintain access for emergency vehicles, residents living within the immediate work area, buses and transit users.
