Water Quality Advisory rescinded for Lakeview/Rose Valley Water System

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview-Rose Valley System. The City issued the advisory Apr. 1, 2021 due to turbidity in Rose Valley Reservoir.
No other Water Quality Advisories or Boil Water Notices are presently in effect in the City of West Kelowna.
Glenrosa Road detour continues this weekend

The Glenrosa Road detour will remain in place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 for sidewalk preparation work to continue.
Keeping the detour in place this weekend will help crews complete necessary sidewalk work, which will reduce the overall duration of the detour.
One lane of traffic will remain open on Glenrosa Road and northbound traffic will detour via Yorkton Road and Morningside Drive. Motorists are advised to follow the 30km/h speed...
Bylaw Compliance officers happy to help seven days a week

The City of West Kelowna is enhancing Bylaw Compliance response, extending customer service hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week until Sept. 30.
Previously, the City enhanced Bylaw customer service from Victoria Day through Labour Day to address increased summer call volumes; then hours would return to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Council expresses condolences on the passing of Len Novakowski
Thoughts and prayers were extended to family and friends of Mr. Leonard Novakowski. Mr. Novakowski was a true gentleman and a leader that served this community as an alternate Regional Director for four years and as a Regional Director for 11 years.
