BC Hydro provides update on reliable power delivery to Westside communities
BC Hydro gave Council an update on efforts to construct a second electrical supply to the City of West Kelowna, District of Peachland and Westbank First Nation. The lead recommendation is a supplemental supply from the Nicola Substation in Merritt, several kilometres north of the existing line. On Nov. 30, the City of West Kelowna launched a questionnaire to allow the community to provide feedback on our Draft Short Term Rental Regulations.
Provide feedback by completing the questionnaire by Dec. 24 if you are interested in or impacted by Short Term Rentals operating in West Kelowna. Access the questionnaire at westkelownacity.ca/shorttermrentals.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue is pleased to support local food banks in 2020 by modifying its 23rd Annual Holiday Food Drive in keeping with provincial health guidelines regarding COVID-19.
