The City of West Kelowna together with Julia Grassmick and her family and guests, are celebrating the Grand Opening of Julia’s Junction – a new accessible and inclusive playground.
West Kelowna’s first inclusive play space was made possible through the generous support of the Government of Canada, PURKIDS Charitable Foundation along with many donors and sponsors.
The community is invited to celebrate the opening and experience the new play space...

Accessibility and Inclusion Committee terms of reference and appointments
Council approved the updated terms of reference for the Accessibility and Inclusion Committee to change the number of voting members from seven to eight. Council is also pleased to announce the following appointments to serve on the committee for a two-year term ending July 22, 2025:

We are pressing play on another Music in the Park!
Free concerts run every Friday evening until Aug. 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful setting of the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway.

Boucherie Road temporarily closed for boulevard maintenance

On Wednesday, July 26, crews will conduct seasonal boulevard maintenance on Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Work requires a full closure of the road, bike lanes and sidewalks to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. Motorists, please use Highway 97 and Hudson Road or Hayman and Stuart Roads as a detour route.
