Temporary closure of Hudson Road intersection tonight to allow for sewer work

Update as of 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7:

The Hudson Road intersection south of Concord Road will be closed again tonight as crews from a private developer continue underground sewer work. The intersection will close for the overnight work beginning at 7:00 p.m. and re-open to traffic by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8. These overnight closures may continue for the rest of the week as crews complete this work.

Boucherie Road temporarily closed for fall maintenance

Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023

Crews will close Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 to conduct fall maintenance.

Crews will:

  • Clean catch basins and medians
  • Winterize irrigation lines
  • Mow, trim and weed

Work requires a full closure of the road, bike lanes and sidewalks to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. Motorists, please use Highway 97 and Hudson Road or Hayman and Stuart Roads as a detour route. Crews will maintain...

Short-term Parkinson Road closure requires detour via Bear Creek and Westside Roads

Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023

A three-day closure of Parkinson Road in both directions is scheduled from Sept. 27 through 30 as crews install a storm-water tank and complete the watermain crossing to connect to the new Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant (RVWTP).

Motorists will need to detour via Bear Creek and Westside Roads, which will add approximately 10 to 15 minutes to their travel plans. Motorists are asked to respect other neighbourhoods by following posted speed limits...



Menu Road paving begins Sept. 13: single-lane traffic from Ourtoland Road to the Menu Reservoir

Residents in Sunnyside can expect single-lane traffic beginning Wednesday, Sept. 13 for two days of scheduled paving on Menu Road from Ourtoland Road to the Menu Reservoir.

Single-lane, alternating traffic will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and motorists may encounter delays of up to 20 minutes to accommodate crews and equipment working in the area.

With construction activity resuming on City roads, the Boucherie Multi-use Pathway Project is nearing completion of this phase of the project.

The detour on Boucherie Road between Ogden Road and Montigny Road is scheduled to be lifted in the evenings and on weekends, starting tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 8, as crews begin paving.
