Minor traffic interruptions expected for World of Wheels Car Show

On Sunday, May 19, motorists should expect minor traffic interruptions due to the World of Wheels Car Show in Kinsmen Athletic Park at 3170 Shannon Lake Road.

The free car show will welcome visitors from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, motorists can expect delays in the area throughout the day in the vicinity of the Shannon Lake Road, Shannon Way and Asquith Road intersections, as volunteers and participants set up. Boucherie Road temporarily closed for spring maintenance

Crews will close Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 to conduct spring maintenance.

Crews will:

• Clean catch basins and medians
• Fix irrigation lines
• Mow, trim and weed
• Repair potholes
• Repair lamp posts
• Sweep streets and sidewalks

Expect minor delays as work on Boucherie Road resumes this week

With winter drawing to a close, construction crews are returning to Boucherie Road to wrap up active transportation upgrades and watermain work along the Boucherie Multi-use Pathway.

Beginning Tuesday, March 12, a single-lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Boucherie Road from Mission View Court to Gregory Road weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Brown Road closed for annual Light Up event this Friday

Kick-off the holidays with us at our annual Light Up event!

On Friday, Dec. 1, Brown Road will temporarily close from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., between Gossett Road and Main Street, for the event.

Overnight closures are expected to continue next week at the Hudson Road intersection, south of Concord Road, to accommodate additional, underground work that a private contractor must complete to connect sewer services to the childcare facility being constructed next to Hudson Road Elementary School.
