Alternating Traffic Required on Wine Trail for Street Light Maintenance

The City of West Kelowna will temporarily close one lane on Boucherie Road Wine Trail, between Hayman and Stuart Roads, to complete street light maintenance between December 17 and 20. 

Crews will work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Ross Road Closed a Little Longer - Detours in Effect until Sept. 11

Due to added required work as part of the construction of Ross Road sidewalks and storm sewer infrastructure, the westbound lane, between Brentwood Road and Riffington Place will remain closed for two more weeks. Bus stops along this stretch will also remain closed. The Ross Road bus stop by the Super 8 Motel remains open as does the Boucherie Mountain Transit Exchange at Westgate Road.

Brown Road Sinkhole Paving Morning of August 20

August 19, 2019

The City of West Kelowna will close the northbound lane of Brown Road, between Dobbin Road and Main Street, in Westbank Centre from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 for pavement repairs.

On August 16, the section of Brown Road was closed after a sinkhole appeared. Tuesday’s closure is to pave the repaired section.

The southbound lane of this section of Brown Road will remain open.

Short Evening Closure of Portion of Boucherie Road July 30

July 25, 2019 

The City’s Parks Department will be conducting maintenance of Boucherie Road, from Highway 97 to Hudson Road from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30 which requires the closure of the north bound lane.

Northbound motorists will be directed to use Hudson Road during this short closure.

The City is conducting maintenance of the boulevards along this section in the evening hours to limit inconvenience to the travelling public.
