Crews successfully completed all of the watermain repairs and water service was returned to normal late on Friday evening.

Update as of Friday, Oct. 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Crews have completed repairs on the watermain break and are now working to recharge the system, with normal service/pressure expected later tonight.

If customers notice any discolouration, they should run the cold water tap for several minutes until it runs clear.

Gellatly and Westbank Centre Watermain Break - Oct. 18, 2023

Update as of Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 11:15 p.m.

Crews have completed repairs on a watermain break and restored service to an isolated area of Gellatly and Westbank Centre around Brown Road South and The Pointe.

If customers notice any discolouration, they should run the cold water tap for several minutes until it runs clear.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Boil Water Notice for the West Kelowna Estates Water Service Area.

While no notices or advisories are in effect for the West Kelowna Estates System, Boil Water Notices remain in place until further notice for:

• Sunnyside/Pritchard System
