Watermain flushing within West Kelowna’s Rose Valley-Lakeview System continues as part of the City’s annual maintenance of the water distribution system. The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Water Quality Advisory, until further notice, for the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area due to conditions in the Rose Valley Reservoir.

Isolated precautionary water quality advisories in effect as watermain flushing progresses in the Rose Valley Water Service Area

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded a precautionary localized Boil Water Notice, due to a watermain break and subsequent loss of pressure in the Shetler Road area of Smith Creek on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Crews have completed repairs and performed the necessary sampling throughout the week that indicate the system is meeting water quality objectives.

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, the City of West Kelowna issued a localized precautionary Boil Water Notice, until further notice, due to a watermain break and subsequent loss of pressure in the Shetler Road area of Smith Creek.
