The City of West Kelowna has shut off water to a portion of Boucherie Centre due to an emergency valve replacement related to improvements on Ross Road.
Residents living on Applegreen Court, Hewl Road and portions of Ponderosa Road (see map) will experience water service disruptions today, Thursday, August 15. The City is working with the contractor to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has upgraded this morning’s Water Quality Advisory to a Boil Water Notice for the Sunnyside/Pritchard Water System due to ongoing water supply challenges stemming from a continuing emergency power outage in the area.
Sunnyside/Pritchard water users are asked to conserve water at this time. Please avoid any outdoor water irrigation and limit indoor water use as much as possible as the City works...

In consultation with the Interior Health Authority, the City of West Kelowna has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the West Kelowna Estates System.
No remaining water quality advisories are in effect in the City of West Kelowna’s systems at this time.
The City of West Kelowna advises the public of changes in water quality through its website and web subscription service. Residents are encouraged to sign up for e-notifications through the City’s website at www.westkelownacity.ca/subscribe...

In consultation with the Interior Health Authority, the City of West Kelowna has downgraded the Boil Water Notice to a Water Quality Advisory for the West Kelowna Estates System.
A Water Quality Advisory means some risk is associated with consuming drinking water and children, the elderly, people with weakened immune systems and anyone else seeking added protection should use boiled water, or an alternate, safe source, for drinking, brushing teeth, washing fruits...

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has issued a Boil Water Notice until further notice, for the West Kelowna Estates System due to a mechanical failure and increased turbidity at the Okanagan Lake intake. Crews are on scene conducting repairs.
