The City of West Kelowna is issuing a precautionary boil water notice for parts of the downtown core – Westbank Centre - due to a water main break on Old Okanagan Highway.
The area affected stretches from Paynter Road continuing east to Carrall Road and from Butt Road south as far as Powers Creek. Working in conjunction with the Interior Health Authority, the City of West Kelowna has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview Water System.
No remaining water quality advisories are in effect in the City of West Kelowna’s systems at this time.

Localized Water Quality Advisory Rescinded For Rose Valley Properties

In consultation with Interior Health, the City of West Kelowna has rescinded a Water Quality Advisory for Rose Valley Properties.
The advisory had been required since Tuesday, September 3 because of higher than normal turbidity, which was the result of a water line break at a construction site.
Repairs, flushing, monitoring and testing are completed and quality is back to normal. The City thanks Rose Valley residents for their patience and understanding.
