The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the precautionary, isolated Water Quality Advisory for Glenrosa and the Boil Water Notice for Stonegate Court, Helen Gorman Elementary, and 3285, 3281, 3279 and 2373 Gates Road.
The Water Quality Advisory and Boil Water Notice were put in effect after an accidental water main break, which occurred on March 19 in the Salmon Road area.

The City of West Kelowna is issuing a precautionary isolated Water Quality Advisory, effectively immediately and until further notice, for parts of Glenrosa, due to an accidental contractor-related water main break, in the Salmon Road area. Some residents on Gates and Salmon Roads, and Stonegate Court, within the immediate area of the break are on a Boil Water Notice.

Due to consecutive, positive lab results, the City of West Kelowna is rescinding the precautionary boil water notice for the 26 affected residences on Hudson Road.
The following addresses are no longer on a precautionary boil water notice:
- 1009, 1019, 1029, 1039, 1049, 1059, 1079, 1089, 1099, 1107, 1119, 1129, 1139, 1149, 1159, 1169, 1179 and 1189 on the south/southwest side of Hudson Road.

Update: Friday, Feb. 14 at 4:45 p.m. through Family Day, Feb. 17
- Hudson Road width is narrowed and speed limit is reduced to 30km/h from Guidi to Concord throughout the Family Day long-weekend until gravel replacements and repaving can be coordinated during warmer temperatures.
- Transit service continues on its usual long weekend schedule through Monday, Feb. 17.

Update 4: Hudson Road Watermain repairs nearing completion

Hudson Road watermain repairs are nearing completion to restore service to all residents; some work will be required Thursday, Feb 13, with fewer impacts to the public expected during what is anticipated be the final restoration and recovery phase of repairs.
