The City’s annual watermain flushing program is progressing, with crews scheduled to resume work on Thursday, Oct. 24 in Zones 1 and 2 of the former West Kelowna Estates System (see map), with an isolated, precautionary Water Quality Advisory in effect within these two areas while the work is underway and continuing until further notice.

Some water users have experienced increased odor and discoloration, even though our water continues to be safe and meet the Canadian Water Drinking Standards. Effective immediately, the isolated, precautionary water quality advisory for the former West Kelowna Estates System Zones 1 and 2 is being rescinded. Watermain flushing within the West Kelowna Estates Zones is paused and is anticipated to resume in mid- to late-October, subject to weather and other factors.
