City will continue water main flushing in the Rose Valley-Lakeview Water System to help improve water quality and maintain the water system as part of this year’s flushing program.
Flushing began Aug. 22 in subdivisions in the lower Rose Valley and greater Shannon Lake neighbourhoods and crews have now moved to areas of Lakeview Heights.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Boil Water Notice for an isolated section of the Lakeview-Rose Valley System, which is served by the Shannon Way Reservoir, due to the presence of total coliform.
The remainder of the Lakeview-Rose Valley System remains under a Water Quality Advisory due to turbidity from Rose Valley Reservoir.
