The City of West Kelowna has issued an isolated Water Quality Advisory for parts of Shannon Lake, due to an unanticipated mechanical issue. Residents may be experiencing turbidity or discoloured water.

Watermain flushing advances to lower section of Tallus Ridge neighbourhood

The City of West Kelowna’s watermain flushing program is progressing, with crews scheduled to begin work in Zone RV05A (see map), starting in the lower half of the Tallus Ridge neighbourhood, within the Rose Valley Water Service Area, beginning Monday, Oct. 20, 2025.

An isolated, precautionary water quality advisory will be in effect within Zone RV05A, due to the flushing, and will continue until the work is completed, which is expected to take a few weeks...

Update for Rose Valley Water Service Area customers: Planned watermain flushing maintenance is progressing well so far in Zone 3A (see map), a portion of the Lakeview Heights neighbourhood.

Starting Monday, July 7 through July 18 we are scheduled to perform flushing on:

• Ourtoland Rd
• Saturn Rd
• Neale Rd
• 1000-1200 Block of Ogden Rd
• 1105-1115 Menu Rd
• Lakeview Cove Pl
• Lakeview Cove Rd
• Rock Rose Pl

Watermain flushing program moves to West Kelowna Business Park and Boucherie Centre

The City’s annual watermain flushing program is progressing, with crews starting work in Zone 2 (see map) of the Rose Valley Service Area beginning Thursday, May 15, 2025.
