You are invited to our fun festivities this holiday season starting with Light Up, the Polar Pancake Pajama Party, and Twinkle Tour!

On Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Light Up will take place at Westbank Centre on Brown Road, from Main Street to Gossett Road. This free, family-friendly event will include kids’ activity stations, live entertainment, and various food vendors.

Dog Park relocation within Westbank Centre Park

The current dog park at Westbank Centre Park will be permanently closed on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023 as our Parks crews begin work on relocating it nearby.

The dog park is located on land leased from Central Okanagan Public Schools and the site is now needed for George Pringle Secondary School reconstruction. The dog park will be moved to the northwestern side of the park, which is City-owned land.

The City of West Kelowna is re-opening some of its indoor Recreation Facilities.

The following facilities will re-open on Monday, August 28, 2023:

• Multi-Sport Centre

• Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre

• Jim Lind Arena

• Royal LePage Place Arena
