Local Governments in the interior Okanagan taking coordinated approach to phased reopening

May 13, 2020Following the recent unveiling of the BC’s Restart Plan outlining the phased reopening strategy for British Columbia, municipalities and districts across the interior Okanagan have been working closely to determine how it applies to local and regional programs, services and indoor and outdoor recreation facilities.

West Kelowna staff have made adjustments to our processes as we continue to serve the public during COVID-19! Council and staff express sincere gratitude to the public for working in partnership with us as we adapt, remain calm, and be kind to one another while we all prevent the spread of COVID-19. The changes implemented at the City of West Kelowna this week (March 23 – 27, 2020) remain in effect until further notice.
