Rotary Keeps Sports Dreams Alive For Westside Kids

As bears prepare for winter denning by increasing their food intake, the chances for human-bear conflicts can increase due to easily accessible unnatural food sources in orchards and neighbourhoods attracting bears into the community. Aquatic Centre Closed for Annual TLC

The usual late summer maintenance shutdown at Johnson Bentley Aquatic Centre begins Saturday, August 31. 

Crews must close the pool section of the facility for cleaning and minor repairs for two weeks through Sunday, September 15. Aquatic fitness classes, swim lessons and public swimming break Friday, August 30 and resume Monday, September 16.
