Some City of West Kelowna Recreation Facilities to Re-Open

The City of West Kelowna is re-opening some of its indoor Recreation Facilities.

The following facilities will re-open on Monday, August 28, 2023:

• Multi-Sport Centre

• Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre

• Jim Lind Arena

• Royal LePage Place Arena

August 25 Music in the Park cancelled

Sorry, Music in the Park fans, due to the West Kelowna McDougall Creek Wildfire, we are cancelling the last Music in the Park of the 2023 season, originally scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2023.

Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre (JBMAC) will be closed until further notice.

Sorry, Music in the Park fans, with the continued poor air quality, the August 18 Music in the Park event has been postponed.

Recreation and Culture staff will work with event planners and performers to determine a new date. Stay tuned!

We are turning up the tunes for the last two Music in the Park concerts of the season!
