The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Water Quality Advisory, until further notice, for the entire Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area due to seasonal turbidity in the Rose Valley Reservoir.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has upgraded the Water Quality Advisory issued on June 6, 2022, to a Boil Water Notice, until further notice, for the Sunnyside/Pritchard Water Service Area, due to an increase in turbidity levels affecting further deterioration of the water quality.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded a Boil Water Notice, for the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area.
The Boil Water Notice was originally required due to increased turbidity, related to seasonal algal blooms; however, these conditions have now subsided and successive testing and monitoring confirm that the Boil Water Notice can be rescinded.

Beginning on Monday, June 20, Stevens Road between Ross Road and the Westlake Roundabout will close for approximately five days to install underground utilities and complete drainage works as part of active transportation upgrades in the Shannon Lake Corridor.
