Boil Water Notice rescinded for Smith Creek area

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded a Boil Water Notice in the Smith Creek area within the Powers Creek Water Service Area.
Turbidity levels and the presence of entrained air within the water mains have improved. Water quality data sets have been confirmed to meet the requirements of the Provincial Drinking Water Protection Regulation and the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality.

Boucherie Road temporary closure for spring maintenance

On Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Boucherie Road will be closed between Hayman and Stuart Roads to conduct spring maintenance.
Crews will:
- Clean catch basins and medians
- Fix irrigation lines
- Mow, trim, prune and weed
- Repair potholes
- Sweep streets and sidewalks
