Roots, Shoots, & Boots

A Brief History

Roots, Shoots and Boots was started by the City of West Kelowna as an initiative of our Communities in Bloom Committee, to provide residents of our community the opportunity to meet others with an interest in gardening and learn about various gardening topics. Our first meeting was held September 1, 2010 and our program continues to grow. The municipality's hope is that the participants will expand their love of gardening and assist with community enhancement projects identified by the Communities in Bloom Committee.

All communication for the program including suggestions, comments and questions can be forwarded to Christy Staunton, Community Recreation Coordinator via email or by phone at 778-797-8812.

Mission of Roots, Shoots & Boots

The Roots, Shoots and Boots Garden Club strives to promote and encourage gardening skills and knowledge along with the beautification of our area, conservation and environmental awareness.
